Gillygate Holiday Apartment

Seb was a great host, very communicative and we were able to find the apartment and the key easily. It was lovely to stay in a place that has a lot of history, but that also has modern conveniences like a nice kitchen and bathroom. The location was perfect for us to use as a base to explore York, and it was close to several pubs where we could get a meal.

The water pipes were a bit noisy, which is only to be expected in an older place.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was just perfect - an easy 10 minute walk into the city centre. The home was spotless and really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. A real bonus was the parking space, which is such a rarity in York city centre. Seb (the host) was fabulous - so friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable - thank you, Seb you are a great guy! We would definitely book again and highly recommend this holiday home

Host Seb was great and gave us all the info needed to get into the location in a stress free way as possible. Seb was also super flexible and accommodating with us needing to leave the property a little earlier.

Loved how close it was to everything. You can walk to all the attractions very easily. A parking space, which is always a bonus. The apartment had everything we needed.
