"Cold stay!"

4.0

The location was perfect, very close to city centre. House itself was nice.

We had a very unpleasant incident twice for two nights. The boiler stopped working and we have not had hot water and heating for 8 pm till next morning 8:20am. It was freezing. After that we were told how to install the boiler, but it was not one time thing it happened the second time as well. Obviously boiler was not working and has to be changed. It spoiled our stay.

"Great spot to enjoy Edinburgh!"

8.0

Brilliantly located in easy walking distance of all the things you want to see in Edinburgh. Contactable, friendly and helpful host.

Second room has no windows which felt a little odd to sleep in

The afternoon sun in the lounge room was very relaxing

"Perfect getaway for two couples near everything!"

8.0

We loved this place! We had our toddler with us and it was no problem, even got to borrow a babycrib and high chair. The location was spot on just by the park and grocery stores. A lovely backyard. Big master bedroom. No window in the other bedroom though. Really cool interior design. The only downside is that it was really cold and it said not to regulate the temperature. It was set on 21° so we were really cold at night and my baby too. hostess is really friendly and easy to talk to. Would love to stay there again.

It was freezing cold and said not to regulate the temperature. Would love to have 23° at least inside.

"Very disappointing stay to our wonderful time in Edinburgh"

4.0

Good and quiet location. Easy walking distance to the Meadows, Museum and city centre. Spacious 2-bed apartment with good size lounge, a small kitchen-diner and a small shower/toilet.

No one was present to do check in and out with us. No inventory list was given to us and we were not asked to note down any breakage/marks/stains, but we were charged for damages we didn't cause. Cord for roller blind in bathroom was broken but loosely tied up. It broke when I pulled it and we were charged £25 for it. We were also charged £75 for a big stain on dining table which was covered by plate mats and we didn't think of lifting all covers on furnitures to check for scratches/marks/stains when we checked in. These 2 charges were taken from the £200 damage deposit that I agreed to pay in good faith but £100 were detained by the management company without proof of any repair receipts. The property was cold throughout the day and we weren't allowed to turn up thermostat, we had to wear jackets indoors but still fell ill. When reported on day 3, we were told this is how windy days are like. The property manager came the following day (last day of our stay) to turn up the heating while we were away, but the hot water stopped and we weren't able to take a hot shower before checking out the next day. This issue was reported immediately but no one came to fix. We didn't report cord and stain because they didn't bother our busy activities in the city, but to be charged for them was completely unacceptable. I raised it with the management company but no reply, so I raised it with my credit card company which resolved the issue.

"Loved our stay. Would definitely come again."

Delightful period property in great location - quietly away from city centre but still within easy reach.

A little musty - could have had improved ventilation.

"Quiet, convenient, and well-connected, this accommodation is perfect for enjoying Edinburgh."

10.0

The accommodation is situated in a very quiet area with quick access to the city center of Edinburgh. There are three supermarkets conveniently located around the corner where you can find everything you need. If you prefer dining out, there are several nice restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. Additionally, two bus lines are just a 5-minute walk away, making transportation easy. During the summer, you can also enjoy relaxing in the nearby Meadows Park.

"Loved it. Great facilities and a lovely well maintained home with the works."

8.0

Location was amazing and it’s a large, solid, well maintained property with lots of cooking facilities. Suited our family perfectly.

The beds were quite small. The only other criticism is parking and this really had nothing to do with the property itself, it’s very difficult to park a vehicle anywhere here given the restrictions and the inability for visitors to use the parking app. Ooooouch
