The matress , it is clear that it has a 100 years old, unconfortable. Tv didn't work No info about how the hobe works, i had to call to find out.

it smelt when we first arrived, the floors were sticky and so say the surfaces

The property was on a quiet residential street with on street parking. There was a pleasant convenience store across the road which came in handy. It was close to our daughter's halls at Bristol uni, which was the reason for choosing. The size of the apartment was good and spacious.

There was ZERO soft-furnishings - little 'ambient' lighting, no curtains (just metal blinds), no rug, no pictures - bare spaces, bare walls, bare floor - not conducive to a cosy night in - felt like sitting in a Doctor's waiting room. No atmosphere whatsoever - very minimal and not homely. Crockery and cutlery was to a minimum - ONE cracked wine glass - we drank our Prosecco out of mugs. The property was dirty - sticky surfaces - spills and marks on cupboard doors - overall just felt 'grubby'. I washed all the cutlery before using.

the booking process, the communication, the bed, the fact that the door though frosted glass had no blind so the street light shone right on to the bed. The lock malfunctioned but the out of hours team were unable to help even though it meant the place being unlocked. They were altogether most unhelpful. What an unpleasant electronic world we have created instead of normal hospitality.

1500 m from our son and daughter in law 's flat

Noisy disruptive neighbours on 1st floor which woke us up with loud music in the early hours of Sunday morning. Television reception was extremely poor. Freeview channels were not obtainable. Phoned on Saturday morning but my complaint was dismissed as nothing they could do about.

nothing the property was fine. what I didn’t like though was the £150 deposit I had to pay for one night stay ? a bit excessive I thought. I did get it back but I felt it was unnecessarily high.
