Location was ok as it was local to the wedding we attended, other than that not a lot to like

It wasn’t clean, the shower didn’t work properly, there was no toilet paper and was very cold.

I had to keep messing and ringing the lady who owned property to give me my £200 deposit back!

Arrived at property at 7.10pm after informing owner that we were attending a family wedding and that we would check in after wedding speeches as had a small gap before evening celebrations. On arriving to property I rang owner to arrange key collection, to be told they had had a leak on the morning and it wasn’t available for us. Such terrible service as we had no idea, not even to get informed about this is just the worst customer service. I was travelling with a party of 6 family members one being my 77 year old mother. To not be contacted to inform us or to be offered an alternative accommodation is absolutely disgusting. We were unable to find alternative accommodation close to wedding venue, meaning we had to leave our family wedding early to drive my mother back to Birmingham, spoiling what was supposed to be a happy occasion. On top of this we have not been given a refund as of yet!!! Have always used Booking.com and am very disappointed this has happened from one of their operators!

We could not access the property and could not contact the host, we still have not received a refund or deposit back

Nothing, could someone from Booking.com could contact the owner and me would make me feel better

It is a nightmare for me on 29/7, I was told the property is not ready until 18:00 for cleaning, and then I need to find somewhere to stay and walk for 3 hours with all my family, but that is not the end, the owner told me that the cleaner did not left the key for me, so that I need to wait longer until she came back........ And then I got the key at around 20:00. the room is quite dirty, especially the sofa, carpet..... I am speechless and wordless to express how disappoint of me and how big trouble to me, and waste my day in Nottingham. All I need is a complaint and justice by Booking.com.

Accommodation potentially OK, but not clean, some damage to property, dirty lounge rug, tired furniture. Tried twice and left messages for keys to get in. Rude telephone answer on third attempt after many minutes waiting. No obvious car parking on-site.
