We enjoyed cooking. The property had everything you need

The property was immaculate with everything you could need. The fridge was stocked with cheese, ham, yoghurt, milk, juice and spread which was a very nice touch. There was also bread, pasta etc. Disagree with the reviews about storage - the bedroom has two wardrobes, six drawers, and cupboards above the bed. The bed can also be used for storage as it is an ottoman bed. There is also storage boxes. There is a hairdryer, straighteners, toiletries and plenty of towels. The hosts were helpful and very responsive to queries.

The kitchen area is quite dark and the lighting isn’t great which made it hard to see The sink in the bathroom is tiny but understandable in a small bathroom

Inside of the bothy was lovely

Tv kept hanging up which was annoying and the outside area needed weeding and tidying up steep hill from the centre of Portree to bothy

Everything you need for a holiday in a Bothy. Great utilities in the kitchen area which was well equipped and we made full use of it. Nice wee surprise of a welcome pack of essential foods including bread, milk, yoghurt, cheese, butter etc. Bed linen, towels, bathroom all immaculate. Lovely lounge area to chill out. Nice small sitting area outside to the front and back although we didn’t have the weather to make use of it. Parking right outside the Bothy. Great communication from host and throughout our stay with tips on ‘what is on’ in Portree. Close to town centre only a 10 minute walk.

Hector was a great host!! Provided us with some food essentials which was a nice touch. Bothy is lovely, great location, very quiet and only a very short walk to centre of town. Our wee gift was totally unexpected, thank you!!!! Highly recommended!!!

That we weren't staying longer!!!!!!!

Well located property, easy to find, very well equipped and decorated, clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and and left breakfast items, showing great kindness. Easy to park in front of the house.

The tiny bathroom’s sink and lack of insulation against external noises.

This stay was so lovely! It absolutely felt like home away from home, so cozy and relaxed.

The property had a very cosy feel. It was comfortable, well set up and attractively presented. Our host was very considerate in providing lunch items so we could relax upon arrival.

A great place to stay and easy 6 - 7 minute walking to the centre of Portree. Loved having a separate bedroom to the lounge/kitchen area. The hosts were great and made sure we were warm and comfortable which we appreciated as we arrived at a very cold and snowy time followed by rain!

The cottage was clean, quiet, and well decorated. It was obvious that the owners have made extra efforts to make the interior attractive and comfortable. The location was easy to find and a 10 minute walk from the center of Portree where there are many shops and restaurants. Short drives to Storr and Quiraing and other attractions. Overall a great place to stay.
