Aaron's Bothy

Aaron's Bothy was a cozy place with nice furnishings and a comfortable bed. It was an easy walk into town, had a well equipped kitchen, including a capuccino maker, which we loved. It suited out needs very well. It truly includes all of the amenities that were listed on the description (such as a washer/dryer in the backyard shed).

It is very rainy on the Isle of Skye and it would probably benefit the Bothy to remove the carpeting and just have tile with rugs. The carpet did get wet and then smelled musty.

Comfortable with all the amenities. Responsive host helped the stay go smoothly. Location within walking distance to grocery store. Good location for exploring the island

Our stay at Aaron's Bothy was lovely, we really appreciated the supplies provided and the range of amenities which were great when hiding from the rain. The property was clean and the location was great being at the edge of town (quiet) but easy to walk into the town center or to shops. Also a beautiful friendly cat nearby.

Only recommendation would be to try to get rid of or reduce the mould around the window frames.

Really nice play to stay in Portree, very well located! All was functional and correct, good communication too.

Amazing Hector was so lovely. I would defiantly recommend this place and the fact it has a kitchen where you can heat up food is a bonus because unless you book weeks in advance you ain’t gonna get a seat at a restaurant believe me.

The shower pressure was a bit weak but who cares.

Front door is very difficult to lock. We weren’t able to lock the door most times when we left so we secured our valuables our car.
