Aaron's Bothy

Great, cosy spot with all the amenities we needed for a stay in Portree. The kitchen had a stocked pantry and we were easily able to make meals. Hector was also lovely and had bought some provisions for us ahead of time.

We thoroughly enjoyed talking with the host . Hector was very friendly and helpful. Aaron’s Bothy is in a great location for getting to the center of Portree and to the buses. The space was very comfortable for the two of us. It is charming and has two outdoor sitting areas.

The place had real character and Hector was really welcoming. It was not too far from town but far enough to be peaceful. I could hear birdsong in the evening. This little place really was a home away from home.

Nothing, it was perfect for me

Had a fantastic 4 nights stay in Aaron's Bothy. Few minutes walk to town, very quiet, fully equiped kitchen. Aaron left some supplies for us which we really appreciated - bread, milk, yoghurt etc. Would not hesitate and book this place in an instant if we ever get back to beautiful Portree one day.

Lovely place! Perfect location! Walkable to restaurants and town. Has everything you need.

Aaron's Bothy was a very pleasant place to stay. The bedroom and bathroom were small and functional, like most other rentals, but the living area and kitchen were superb. There was also space outside to sit and relax, although the weather did not allow us to do so. The location was great - we were in a very quiet part of Portree, just a few minutes' walk to the town centre. To top it off, two lovable cats came calling on our last day there.

No spoons for eating Bathroom basin doesn't have mixer, hence difficult to use water, it will be either too hot or too cold
