Blood stained bedding pair of old pants stuffed down the very dusty radiator in the bedroom dirty cutlery excessive noise from above flat and the view out the window were a huge black truck from the guests up stairs setting the smoke alarm off every half hour

Lovely little basement apartment very clean

Could do with a little tv in bedroom for them snuggly nights in

Everything was comfortable, clean and in the best location. Mat the host was extremely accommodating allowing us an earlier check in as had travelled by train and been lugging baggage around all day. Highly recommend.

The stairs to the front door really need handrails. I have mentioned this to Matt.

The noise from upstairs but I know that can’t be helped as it is a basement flat

Modern spacious apartment, lovely kitchen, all decorated to a very high standard. Huge bonus of forecourt parking, so we could walk down into town (about 15 mins) and back up (20 mins, steep hill!) Also 17 mins walk to railway station / bus station so we got the bus to Whitby, much easier than driving and parking. My granddaughter had the bedroom and said the double bed was was comfier than her own bed at home, I slept on the sofa bed and it was fine. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again.

The bathroom was set up as a wet room, appreciate there isn't room for a shower cubicle but it doesn't really work for me, very difficult to dry the floor.

Great location to south & north beach 2min from the castle,Great for exploring surrounding areas like York & Whitby,Great apartment a few issues but sorted with the Great help from Matt,Would stay again & highly recommend
