Margate Sunset Retreat - Direct Sea Views

Really disappointed that we were given insufficient address details. We walked up and down a row of houses in the cold rain trying to find flat 2??? Was door number 11 Rang emergency number who were vague on door number and although helpful enough wasted alot if our time The delay of finding/getting into the property took the shine off of it all.we were tired and cold and I've just finished cancer treatment so this wasn't what we needed

Bedrooms curtains were unable to open/ shut for worry of pulling them down and very thin so let in too much light

Location was great, convenient for the station and very quiet. Right on the seafront so great views as well.

This was a charming place to stay. We were very comfortable. The views were lovely and the location was great!

The location suited us. We enjoyed the walk along the sea front. The apartment was comfortable with everything we needed. Good shower and facilities. Very comfortable.

The apartment needs some attention and smartening up. It's comfortable but a bit tatty in places. The TV channels were limited.

Tv in lounge too small for size of room and positioned badly We carefully moved couch nearer too Tv but then exposed a dead bird and feathers under couch Blinds were too small to cover widow and difficult to reach to pull down Smell of urine in the bathroom even though we bleached it every day The door around the handle inside the bathroom was quite unpleasant and the light cord above the handle was brown More water ran down the hose of the shower than came out of the shower head Couldn’t use freezer part of fridge as it was full of ice No curtains or blind up at kitchen window Rules on door stated to take shoes off on entering the flat as the flat below was sensitive to noise. This would be reduced if there were more rugs on the floor and a runner in the hallway. One of the rules stated no visitors I have never stayed anywhere where I haven’t felt able to invite family or friends in the area in for a cup of tea and cake however this rule didn’t affect us as we would have not wanted to invited anyone back to this flat Flat was always cold on our return after going out and took a long time to heat up Drawer in small bedroom had socks inside covered in dust so did not bother unpacking suitcase
