The Old Vicarage self-contained apartments

Perfect location for visiting local villages and Powis Castle. Very clean. Excellent parking and shower. Beautiful garden, atmospheric local church and friendly local pub.

The bed wasn’t the comfiest. Duvet under-cover was slippery and meant the cotton cover kept slipping off. The chalet was rather small.

Excellent location and although no seating area outside, attractive garden behind owners property to use. Excellent shower (luxury?).Would be a great place for some one with a dog to stay. Clean.

Room 1. Very hard bed and bedding over warm due primarily to a heavy duty synthetic over cover on duvet. Never seen such a thing in 40 years travel. You pay for what you get (cheap place to stay given general area pricing) as reflected by the dated furniture and tiny, minimalist kitchenette. Self catering with a very tiny C! Flooring very rough tiles and not suitable for disabled due to trip hazard.

The accommodation is well situated for the Shropshire Hills. The apartment was well provisioned and equipped. I needed nothing more. The hosts were very friendly and super helpful.

I liked that it was a self contained unit and bed tv kitchen accessible It was clean and beds very comfortable Not far to get to shop or pub

Poorly equipped food and coffee It does say emergency set up So it was detailed that this is what it was but stayed at previous places with nicer layout for guests biscuits coffee tea choices of and milk sugar

Very cosy. Enough breakfasts for 2 nights. Excellent shower.

The breakfast was very good.the village was quiet, a walk just down the road was ideal for my dog in morning .

The duvet was more in keeping for winter than a warm summer night ,a bit too heavy and hot !
