Alma Apartments In A Perfect Location

It was really clean and everything you needed was provided. The location for my job was excellent. Easy to find and access.

The apartment is in a good location.

The apartment is a basement flat and we paid £130 a night for it! There are bars over the window and almost no natural light. Be careful when booking that you know exactly which flat you are booking. The pictures you see are of the numerous flats the same company owns in the building. There was poo in the toilet and someone had wiped their bum on the hand towel...or something brown and dirty. There were lots of hairs wrapped around the used soap in the shower.I told the management company and they offered to send a cleaner around, but we felt £130 a night merited so much more than we received. Having said that, we bumped into another couple that was quite pleased with the flat they had, so I suppose it all depends on which one you get.

Great location, spacious and comfortable. Great open plan living room/kitchen and huge bathroom! The freestanding bath was a lovely feature. Would definitely stay here again!

A little noisy hearing everyone in the halls at times, but that said, it shows how quiet it is the majority of the time! Batteries in the tv remote were dead and couldn't then get Netflix on, so an upgrade there might be nice. Kettle was grim so had to boil water in a pan, and a couple of pans needed replacing. But all to be expected with most rentals like this.

Location which is strategic for my needs

Was staying in the Safe and there used to be an outdoor patio which is well kept. Enjoyed sitting outside with my coffee in the mornings. Now it is strewn with rubbish and dirty. The mattress is also due for change

Clifton Downs is a lovely part of Bristol. The bathroom is spacious and great, as is the living room. Essential shops are in spitting distance and it's merely minutes from the train station. The staff were very corporate but straightforward and quick to respond.

The bedroom wasn't great. The mattress was uncomfortable, the frame was noisy and the room got very warm in the summer. I would highly recommend getting hold of a fan as there's no air conditioning.
