Elegant 2 BR Apartment in Historic Cambridge

the apartment had lots of little extras - like brand new toothbrushes in bathroom, loaf of bread and pint of milk waiting for us, very powerful hot shower. Clean linen throughout including tea towels, dish cloths.

Doors catching on the carpets so they would not open properly, window very difficult to open and close in lounge, light bulb not working in lounge, lamp switch broken in bedroom, bed creaked in second bedroom which kept people awake at night. Could do with washing up bowl and some scissors in the kitchen.

Good basics provided for breakfast with a range of hot drinks available. The apartment was clean and well situated for the park and ride into Cambridge. The knives were sharp and the frying pan non-stick. The shower was great too.

The kettle needed de-scaling and this impacted the taste of the water. The decor was a little tired and some minor maintenance would improve it. A larger range of cups and plates would be useful too.

I liked that the keys were in a locked box and that there was coffee, milk, cereal, fruit and juice inside the fridge. There was clean towels in the bathroom and bedrooms. Bed was comfy and sheets were clean and light. There was a desk that I could work at.

When I first arrived one of the neighbours shouted at me and said I needed to move my car as I was in someone’s space and that if I didn’t move it, I would be boxed in until I did move it. I hadn’t realised there was allocated parking. I did apologise to the man and moved my car. However the man never said thank you or anything and walked away once I moved the car.

Very well-equipped apartment with full kitchen and laundry (latter not used on this occasion). Private, quiet location near to wedding venue at Longstowe. Lovely touches such as additional toiletries (eg new packaged toothbrush) provided in case of forgetful guests, along with fresh milk, bread, fruit and other breakfast supplies. A comfortable stay!

Nice apartment in a calm cute little village. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also there were breakfast items included like toast, jam and cereals.

Modern appartment with good facilities.

The appartment hadn't been vacuumed. Little bit cold, couldn't get the heater in the lounge to work, no instructions.

The facility was clean and very well provisioned
