Ground Floor City Retreat

Great location, just a short walk to the town centre, apartment had most amenities, very clean and quite comfortable.

Front door very hard to open and close, needs adjusting as so hard to close, took a few attempts to get it to shut.

Apartment was clean. Kitchenette had good facilities. Perfect central location.

Why leave jam and biscuits as the “on arrival hamper”? Weird. Hallway needs attention - dirty, musty and lets the apartment down. Front door was swollen so difficult to open - previous occupants have said same but I do totally understand why. Apartment was cold on arrival but soon warmed up. Tip - close shutters in lounge area- huge draft comes through. Could do with more TV channels - again previous occupants have mentioned. Sad to say sheets were stained but host told us the marks were from the laundrette.

Really clean and spacious apartment, close to a little supermarket and a nice view from the living area window. Some complementary jam and biscuits for arrival. Bed comfortable nice linen. Bathroom tidy and clean little soaps. Customer service was excellent as I got my days mixed up, great communication fast to reply and friendly.

The shower was a bit hit and miss, but it was functional. Near to noisy road, but you'd expect that as it's quite a central location.

Clean, tidy had everything that we needed. Convenient to get into town. Bus stop outside front door.

We were warned there would be some train noise a little misleading. The trains went under apartment. So could feel them as well as here them. Needed shower mat in shower. No TV channels so used our own Netflix account.

Excellent location. Cosy clean apartment. Felt like home from home. Good local Information pack provided. Good communication from hosts. Would definitely recommend

The bedroom is right next to the train line so can be a little noisy when trains go by at night.

The property was clean abs had all the equipment needed.

The property was lovely. We were short of towels which the owners sent over. Also the write up said there would be chocolate in the room and there wasn’t !

Perfect location for strolling into the City centre.
