Ken is a hero. Amazing value for money, great to have a fridge, bed was comfy and room was clean and smelling fresh. Had a great nights sleep and was very happy

One minor issue. Crunchy/Squeky floorboards.

Location was great. The boss was very nice. Our train didn’t depart until 5 pm. The boss said because there were some empty rooms the next day, we could check out late in the afternoon. I have travelled a lot. This is the first time I have had this kind of experience.

Nothing.

Lekker bed, rustige accommodatie. Weinig geluiden van buiten. Fijne locatie. Handig dat je de keuken kan gebruiken. Fijn dat ik mijn tas gratis kon achterlaten na uitchecken.

De houder van het douchegordijn zat los. Geen theedoeken in de keuken.

Property was clean and had everything you need was just a bit small

A great surprise, lovely room, ensuite (I'd expected a shared bathroom) in an excellent location a couple of minutes' walk from everything you want. Decent sized room, with free tea and coffee and bottled water. You get what you pay for - it's not immaculate and it's a little rough around the edges, but it exceeded my expectations and was very good value for a Saturday night in Newcastle. Owner was lovely too.

The lock system on the front door to the street is completely illegal under the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: fire door guidance. It could be a serious hazard during a fire. Hopefully the lovely owner Ken will address this as the only downside to an excellent stay.
