Glanwye

Amazing location. Hosts constantly available but not in anyway intrusive. Lovely big bed, on the firm side.

We have just returned from the most idyllic 3 night stay at Glanwye, absolutely faultless from the moment we got there till the moment we left. Due to a mix-up on my part, we actually got to see both the upstairs & downstairs accommodation & both are beautiful & immaculately kept. We stayed downstairs & found it to be everything we needed; clean, comfortable, cosy & well-equipped with a little garden terrace, which literally opens into the field where the geese & goats are kept. On our first day the goats came right over to us & were so friendly, letting us stroke them & enjoying the fuss. The hosts are very friendly, they work very hard around the farm & it's clear the animals are well looked after & cared for. Perfect location, about a 10 minute walk into Hay-on-Wye. We were very sad to leave the place & will definitely be back!

This is a really lovely place to stay. It’s my second visit and my first choice for a trip to Hay. The perfect getaway!

As I was holidaying solo, a very minor thing was the tv reception wasn’t great, and no way to stream from my iPad as no HDMI port on the tv and only a free view box.

Location perfect for Hay-on-Wye with the advantage of a farm setting. The apartment was exceptionally spacious.

The apartment is strictly for two people.

The property was clean, cosy but spacious. Everything we needed was provided. The location is stunning and so peaceful but not too far from the village and is a very easy walk. The owners were lovely and welcoming. We will definitely go back☺️

It was cosy, clean and a great place to relax.
