"Quiet countryside spot but with easy access to Hay"

Excellent accommodation with a balcony overlooking a field of very friendly goats. Tucked away in the countryside but with an easy stroll into Hay. Hosts very welcoming. On arrival we discovered milk, butter, bread and eggs which was much appreciated. A perfect place to relax to the sound of clucking hens!

We were in the upstairs apartment. It was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean with all the facilities you need. Having read the other reviews I saw that the owner sometimes leaves eggs from their chickens. In order for them to not be wasted I mentioned in the booking we are vegan. Not only did they not leave eggs, they specifically put out oat milk for us, the small things really make a big difference. Not to mention the delicious home baked sourdough. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Loved the sensitive and meticulous attention to detail in the accomodation as well as great position..easy walking distance to Hay on Wye.In addition Sein and Jo were friendly inclusive and informative hosts.Sein's goat cheese fantastic! Loved the opportunity to commune if we wanted with her prize goats and enjoyed the successful milking experience!

Only one bossy gander but we had him fooled!

"Superb"

Brilliant rural location with goats and geese. Our decking platform was at first floor level and under/in a huge old ash tree. We were surrounded by birds like being in the tree canopy. Inside was clean and stylish. There was a large bowl of fruit, and butter, milk, bread, tea and coffee etc all ready for us on our arrival. Easily walkable into Hay on Wye.

Beautiful cottage. We were on the ground floor. Views of goats and geese outside in the field. Perfect location. 10 minutes walk into Hay. 30 mins walk to the Hay Festival

"Just what we needed, a short break full of relaxing and taking in nature"

Location was so nice, we could have sat on the patio for hours watching the goats, chicken and geese playing around.
