Beautiful cottage in the grounds of a farm, quiet and restful. Well decorated and maintained, great bed linen!

Only thing was turning out of the driveway, especially right, must be really tricky if the road is busy, maybe a mirror would help.

The kitchen was brilliant. The little touches like milk, butter, tea, coffee, eggs and more were a pleasant suprise that made the first night essentials enjoyable. It had everything we needed from a hotel stay kitchen. It was clean and easy to use. The sofa was very comfy! The water pressure in the shower was very good, the shower was warm straight away. I loved the farm feel, the goats and chickens were a pleasure to watch. Pleasant stay and would recommend. WiFi was easy to use and worked straight away Host was lovely Plenty of parking

TV could do with updating. There were a few cobwebs - cleaning could do with more detail eg behind the microwave and bottom of the bathroom shelves.

Lovely location, fantastic to be so close to the river for swimming. Hosts friendly and helpful. Spacious flat - very comfortable large sofa. Rural but within easy reach of Hay-on-Wye.

Although the kitchen was generally well-equipped, a little more cutlery would be useful.

Great setting and accommodation, walkable to Hay see

Lovely rural location but only 10 minutes walk into the town. Beautifully renovated property. Loved watching the goats. Short walk & you’re by the river where you could go in for a swim or have a picnic if you had the time which unfortunately we didn’t. The owners were very friendly & helpful with local knowledge.

There was nothing not to like unless you don’t like the sound of cockerels in the morning or being a farm style environment!

So quiet and a lovely location

The accommodation is exceptional. Amazing clean, excellent location and beautifully furnished to a high standard. The owners greeted us when we arrived, were full of local knowledge and very kind and personable. By far, the best accommodation we've ever stayed in. The outside area with recliners and a table was very welcome on what was a very hot long weekend. The goats, chickens and geese were running around outside the gated area. It was lovely to sit outside in the morning with a cuppa watching the farm life.

Absolutely nothing at all that we didn't love or like.

It was very well equipped, very clean and tastefully furnished.

We loved it, but the only little issue for us was the cockerell! He was obviously active very early in the day, as cockerells are. It wouid have been nice to be aware, because we would have taken some ear plugs. We would definately return, armed with plugs!
