Stylish Apartment 5 min Walk to Castle - By Tempstay

Location

The location was brilliant, a nice enough walk to the Castle and other local amenities. Beds were comfy, the apartment had everything you could need .. oven, microwave, big fridge, iron, washing machine etc Staff were reasonably quick to reply to any messages before and during the stay. Easy instructions to find the apartment and get the key.

Bit rusty around the edges. This might not bother some however, it felt like a cat or dog or something had been living in the flat and played with up wife and childs allergies .. but only slightly. Overall happy with the stay and probably would stay again if in the area

The locality to train station and other amenities were within walking distance. very clean and well presented, and liked the ease of being able to get into the property. When contacting for support they were very helpful.

Having to walk through the main bedroom to get to the bathroom. Not ideal for couples. The back garden was totally overgrown and could not be used as there was no table and chairs. It was more like a 10 min fast walk to castle and not 5 min.

A bit the location

- Mold in the house everywhere around the windows, bath tab . - Peeling paint in all room due to high humidity. - broken bed - worst mattress ever - broken blind I have got infected eye , My wife sore throat, my daughter coughing at all time whilst staying in the house . We have no allergies at all.

Good location clean

Bathroom in main bedroom wasn’t ideal and should state on information about a deposit of £250 soon I booked and paid I had deposit come up..

The positives: -Great location -Super comfortable beds ( we slept very well) -Overall good value for money -Good WiFi and Netflix -Well equipped kitchen (except very old pans with Teflon coming off which is a bit unsafe)

The negatives; - We didn't receive access code for check in as promised. Had to chase the office ( cominucation was good though) -There was lots of hair in bedsheets when we arrived which was a bit gross - As someone mentioned in the other review it would be nice to add some more decorative elements like lamp in the living room and curtains in the main bedroom
