Beautifully decorated space. Very homely and host was very welcoming. Everything down to spices in the kitchen had been considered. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely comfortable apartment - cosy and clean. Lots of thoughtful extra touches and a very welcoming host.

Very comfortable bed and bedding pillows etc, stylish apartment, well thought out. . We had everything we needed and more. Parking was perfect outside the door, it was on the ground floor, zero noise and the extra touches, breakfast goodies galore plus other icing on the cake bits, were above and beyond. Great host friendly, and informative. Can 100 percent recommend

Really comfortable and cosy. Great bed. Fantastic location for bars and restaurants on Newland Avenue. Around a half hour flat walk into town. Jon was a great host.

The Light Room is a quirky, clean, comfortable and very cosy apartment in a quiet area. The host, Jon has thought of everything in equipping it and making it a real home from home including books, DVDs and games. The bed is very comfortable and there are 3 seating areas - one for reading or watching TV, one for eating and one outside - and lots of lamps creating a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle and even a washing machine! And if, you need to eat in then there are pans, crockery, cutlery and condiments. There was also a complimentary breakfast provided. The apartment is all on one level and the parking is free and directly outside the door, ideal for unloading and loading. Jon is a very welcoming and attentive host who was happy to be there when it was convenient to arrive. Will definitely go here again.

The bathroom doesn't have a window which means, inevitably, a slight smell of damp - but it was clean.
