Generally a very good hospitality operation, at the horseshoe and the cottage . Polite, friendly and helpful team. Nice walks available along canal bank.

Lovely cottage. Cosy and has everything you need. Pub next door is very welcoming, food is gorgeous.

we did our own breakfast - did not order through the pub/restaurant. Cottage was actually very nice. Picked up keys from Pub next door - not a problem to check in. Did eat at the Pub for a dinner - quite good we would recommend.

Arrived after check in time, but Cottage was not fully cleaned prior to arrival so did wait a bit for that to get done. They were very nice and tried to be very accommodating.

The Smithy is located on the isde of the main route from Newton to Welshpool and was very easy to find, fenced off from the actual Horseshoes Inn so there was privacy

Good location. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good food and lovely breakfast rolls at a very reasonable cost
