Chic one bed apartment- City Living in converted Cocoa Warehouse York PARKING

Clean, nice modern apartment very close to everything in an interesting building and parking REALLY handy.

Nothing really, but a folding clothes airer would be handy esp as you have a washing machine.

The property had a problem with the shower, so we were offered another property.

Apartment beautifully decorated (chic is absolutely the right word), very comfortable, wonderful location. Fans had been provided to tackle the heat which were very much appreciated.

Literally the only problems we had were deciphering the entry instructions (we had to be shown by a resident of the building how to get through each door) and the hot water reserve wasn't enough for both of us to have warm showers in succession.

Location and property design

The entry system especially the car park and the fact we had to give a deposit.

A lovely apartment that had everything we needed and was really well presented. Great location by the river, within a short walk from the city centre. The welcome pack was gratefully received following a long and frustrating journey. Free parking was also welcome.

While the check-in instructions included a link to parking instructions it would have been helpful if the fact there are 2 bays with the same number was highlighted up front in the check-in instructions and that parking in the wrong one could lead to a parking charge of £100. We arrived late at night after a long journey and did not realise that the carpark had 2 bays with the same number until the following day. The high temperature within the apartment did make the evenings quite uncomfortable. The hosts provided fans but these offered limited respite.

Nice, comfortable, spacious location. Room had activities, a TV, and guides for the town. Everything in town had a 20 minute maximum walking distance.

Nothing much, it was very nice. The location of the faucet for the tub was strange.

The apartment was superb. Very clean, comfortable and every items you would want. The location was excellent.

Although parking comes with the apartment, the parking allocation is on the top 8th floor of the car park with no lift being available. Anyone with mobility issues will struggle with the stairs as I did. I wasn’t informed of this beforehand. Would be worth mentioning in advance.
