Rose Street - Watchmakers Apartment

Beautiful property with a lot of space, useful amenities and brilliant central location for sightseeing. Was a delightful place to stay, with easy access to many of Edinburgh’s tourist locations.

The Main Street location meant we were woken overnight with loud revellers - not the property’s fault, but something for people to consider when booking. Also, the parking is nonexistent without paying exorbitant fees on a daily basis.

Close location to town centre

Shower clogged, my husband pulled out long clumps of hair to release rising water in cubicle, toilet clogged, lots of dust under beds. No hanging space in front bedroom. Wardrobe in back bedroom cluttered with hoover, mop bucket, ironing board, 2 radiators dusters and other cleaning things. Loud noise coming from streets in back and front bedroom. No lighting on first floor stairway.

Excellent location in New Town, close to the Castle, Royal Mile and many things to do and see. Hosts were very helpful and responsive - thanks Barry!

It's not the quietest spot in town but the close proximity (and easy walking) to everything we wanted to do made up for that.

It was great value for money and in a good location.

It was very noisy from the bars outside.

Location was convenient. No breakfast provided.

The blinds did not block out the early morning light. Sun came up at around 4am.

The location in city centre was great

Because of being in city centre was a bit noisy at night. Needed more hanging facilities, even a few more hooks on the wall would suffice. Radiator in front bedroom needs to be fixed to wall properly
