"Pretty but disappointing"

Historical connection, cosy

No roof on toilet and no extractor fan?!?!? Musty as hell. Ater a long trip we had to wait almost 2 hours for hot water to turn on.

"Great for Shrovetide."

Location was ideal for Shrovetide event.

Not the fault of the owners but the parking was closed off by the Shrovetide organisers; paid parking was available elsewhere.

"Great weekend in a great location and house"

Madge house is in a great location in the town. The house is lovely and very well equipped. We had a great weekend catching up with family and friends who lived locally. The fish and chips are a must and a Sunday roast at the George and Dragon (both in the marketplace) I am a bit of a ‘roast snob’ but the roast beef was amazing! The host is really helpful too. Would definitely recommend Madge House
