Good location with parking close by. Everything needed for an overnight stay.. Comfortable and clean.

The location was adjacent to the centre of town so it was an easy 2 minute walk into town. The local Waitrose supermarket was within walking distance to pick up whatever you may need. There was a wide selection of cafes and restaurants in town and the Indian food at Westbourne Spice was a highlight of the stay. The town itself is lovely with lots of relaxing walks and the people are welcoming and friendly.

The accommodation itself is below ground level so there is a need to navigate a short tight staircase to enter the apartment. The bedding arrangement says it sleep four but there was only one double bed and the other option was a divan or a second double mattress so it would be a bit of a struggle for four adults. Aside from a couple of negatives, the apartment was well catered for with a full kitchen and fridge, toaster, kettle and everything else you would need for a comfortable stay.

Comfortable place, great location, the host was excellent, flexible and great at responding. There was everything needed.

Not much that can be done but I am a tall guy so certain ceilings are a bit low and one narrow corridor but apart from being more aware of it, that would be the main downside.

Rooms were lovely. Loads of little personal touches.

Being a large lady I found getting into the shower a little difficult.

Clean and comfy. Great location for what we wanted. Decent size for 2 people. Used some of the helpful leaflets and the provided tea and coffee. Would stay again if in Otley.

Relaxing afternoon was spoilt, a little, by a constantly barking dog. Not sure which part of the property it was in, if at all.

Perfect location for the town. Host friendly. Internal decoration beautiful. Was offered extra pillows. Tea bags, coffee provided. Lovely kitchen area. Free wifi. Self sufficient. Very clean. Lots of toiletries available if you’d forgotten anything.

The smell. The smell of damp radiated throughout including on the towels and some of the linen. The cover for the sofa bed had such a smell when we pulled it out my husband put it straight back and didn’t use it. The bathroom is not a room it is a corner of the bedroom separated by a curtain hence the damp smell everywhere. The shower temperature control didn’t work, have seen this since in a previous review. Temperature was fine for adults but too hot for my youngest child. We had to move the main bed and setup the extra mattress on the floor and change the sheets. The only part of the flat that wasn’t clean happened to be the floor at the head end of where the extra mattress laid (which would’ve been behind the main bed) and so our pillows kept falling into the dust. Where the extra mattress laid is right next to the door which is where the smell was worse. There was no lock on the toilet door. There were spiders absolutely everywhere so my youngest kid was crying and my middle kid held his wee, it got quite tedious removing them all. I didn’t and still don’t think any of these issues could’ve been resolved whilst we were staying there apart from the pillow dust but as there were 5 of us all spread out with wedding clothes etc and cases everywhere plus the extra mattress blocking the whole floor it was better just to get on with it. Luckily we were out climbing the chevin and the next day at a wedding so out of our 3 nights we weren’t basing a lot of time at the flat but the nights were smelly and spidery albeit with beautiful wallpaper and fairy lights.
