Location. Value. Parking.

The check-in was a bit of a hassle. But, luckily there was a wonderful receptionist on duty who helped us.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely block, near all shops & pubs. Gated parking so very secure.

On a busy road so it was quite noisy.

The apartment had everything we needed and the sofa and bed were very comfortable which really helps to relax after busy days in a city with so much to see and do!

Loved the close proximity to York centre and all its attractions and facilities. 5 minutes from the Shambles! Parking space was very convenient and ideal for guests staying here with a car. Good amount of space inside the apartment and well decorated. Plenty of utensils and equipment provided for guests.

Bed and mattress - When one person moves on the mattress the other person is disturbed and jostled around quite considerably. Not a very firm mattress (maybe just a personal preference) After a conversation with staff through Booking.com before arrival about wether or not a fan was available for when weather was warmer I was assured there was one however this is not the case. Apartment can warm up quickly and to open windows at night would mean you were disturbed by street and traffic noise. If this is a factor for you then bring a fan of your own!

Good location. Safe. Clean.

Room at front of building, trucks and buses shook the building due to uneven roads. We have previously stayed at the rear and it was quieter. Mattress quality needs to be better. No towel holder in toilet had to leave on floor. Mirror in bathroom was over toilet needs to be over sink for makeup and shaving. Apartment was spotlessly clean. Everything else was great.

Cannot improve perfection

Beautiful apartment 😍, high spec had everything we would have needed for our stay. Felt like a home from home. The location was fantastic, short walk to the centre which is good for exploring the city. The building was so quiet and was nice not hearing g others about like you would in say a hotel.

Only thing was the bed. It was comfortable but as soon as you sit on it it squeaks, so every time you turn over in the night or even move slightly, it squeaks.
