Great location with free off street parking, very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 5 guests. Well equipped kitchen.

This is a lovely little house with everything we needed for our two day stay. Very convenient to shops and lots of takeaways less than 5 minutes away. House is clean and warm.

bathroom window didn’t seem as secure as the rest of the house. outside noise was loud at times. We kept the blinds down as there is very little privacy. There is a small leak in the bathroom under the towel rail. The teapot needs replacing as it has a crack all around the bottom and we were afraid to use it after the first time. These were all little things and did not take away from a us having a lovely time in your house.

unfortunately nothing.

the property did not in anyway feel secure. the front door had a single bolt holding the door shut. I could feel the breeze through the back door and the windows. no curtains and the rooms felt damp.

Excellent location; easy access; brilliant, comfy hotel style beds; clean, plentiful towels; comfy sofa; compact.

Mould above windows; tight squeeze to pass double bed to get to clothes rail; no soap, toilet roll or mirror in bathroom; no batteries in TV remote (my friend was stuck indoors the first night); difficulty accessing the heating; noisy - I could hear boy racers repeatedly revving their pimped up car engines and possibly racing around the estate although it sounded initially like it was just outside my window at ridiculous o'clock.

Location

Problem with no hot water on the morning after we arrived. Contacted the agency and left two messages but no reply until midday on the following day. We managed to sort the problem ourselves after locating the gas boiler (hidden behind a panel in the kitchen) and turning control from ‘auto’ to ‘manual’. Shower tray sealant and grouting very mould-stained. There is an electric powered shower in the shower cabinet as well as the one linked to the hot water supply, but the shower head on the electric unit is coming away from the hose. The mirror in the bathroom is not fit for purpose - totally useless for shaving! Paved area at rear of property needing a good clean up - covered in weeds and litter. Waste bin in kitchen had no lid. There was a hood over cooker but no visible means to turn on the light or fan. only 1 wine glass!

We found bed bugs on both of the double mattresses. There was mould on the wall in both of the bedrooms, in one even behind the bed. The couch was very dirty and gross. The shower was dirty as well. I really don't know how this place scored a good mark in regards cleaning. The only good thing was that they offered a refund.The heating was set bad, so there were 31 degrees in the house. We tried to contact the given phone number but they didn't answer. Very late, we texted thru booking, and they told us how to fix it. We later saw that others complained about this as well. Apparently, the host doesn't care.
