The Lady of the Lake Windermere

The location to the Lake was excellent, we paddle boarded every day. We visited Ambleside and walked Loughrigg Fell and also Bowness, Both walkable or by car. The property has everything you need, it is very warm and comfortable. This is our 2nd visit and we hope to return.

There is no bath but the shower is excellent.

The room was cosy and warm, inviting. There were some lovely books, especially the mole, fox, horse book. Anya was very helpful and communicative.

There was a little error with door code given but all good in the end, host corrected this quickly :)

A fabulous little self contained cottage, with everything included. We were even supplied with a couple of complimentary extras, which never fails to please. 15 minute walk to town, access to the lake. Superb!

Beautiful scenery and quiet

Such a beautiful cottage in a wonderful location with an amazing view. Anya had everything prepped inside, clean, warm and so well equipped. From biscuits to coffee, to extra towels to cooking equipment - couldn't fault this place one bit. Soooooo warm and soooooo cosy. The best place to go as away from city life and unbelievably peaceful. What I really liked is Anya making contact on the day of arrival via phone to ensure a smooth handover was done.

Can't fault anything.

Brilliant host who was only at the other end of the phone and very attentive should we need to contact her or ask any questions. Amazing location and such a beautiful little cottage for our short stay.
