Steep little access road down to cottage in snowy / icy conditions was a pain though we were unlucky with very bad weather.

Love the views from the cottage! Everything in general was lovely and well looked after. The host was attentive.

TV room is the most humid room, and I could notice the smell which I am particularly sentitive too

The location and view of the lake was spectacular, the hosts were very attentive and made time to call us directly to check everything was alright and if there was anything we needed and if we found everything okay, we thought this was lovely because we’ve never experienced a service like that before! You can tell the hosts care deeply for their guests! It was very clean, comfy and cosy and it was nice that there were dvds available at the property to watch!

"The Lady of the Lake Windermere (Cottage)"

Really lovely apartment. Spacious, 4 rooms. Superb in pretty-much everything. Very clean, plenty of supplies, bathroom/shower really great, kitchen extremely well laid out, bed extremely comfortable thanks, and the view of Lake Windermere simply divine. We also loved the walk down to the pier/jetty in the evenings. The weather during our stay in Oct was really lovely, which helps!

Mmmm. Not much really! Perhaps (I'm being fussy) a more comfortable lounge sofa? But the important things were nice bathroom, excellent comfy bed and a kitchen probably 10/10. If you could get us jobs in the village, we'd love to stay longer in the Priory cottage!

"Great little cottage and amazing views!"

The location of the cottage being right on Lake Windermere is great and the view you get of the lake from the window is brilliant. The cottage is also only a 15-minute or so walk from the town of Windermere, so found ourselves walking as it was much easier. The cottage itself was great, it was very clean and had all the facilities you would need. Really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Thanks to Anya too for being so helpful and welcoming!
