Cosy 2 Bedroom Flat in Edinburgh

Apartment was well furnished, all rooms very comfortable, lots of closet and storage available. Selection of television streaming was very good. instructions provided regarding eating options and parking were spot on and useful as we brought a rental car.

The odour of the fish market next door doesn't give a very good first impression but luckily the smell is confined to this area and not the room itself, even with the windows open. I was concerned about the condition of the stairs to the second floor, heavily worn in the middle and somewhat of a hazard if you over 60 and needing more light to see where you are stepping, all while hauling a 20 kg. suitcase.

Quiet location. Everything provided in apartment. Good facilities. Bus stop right opposite apartment takes you straight into town, and 24/7 shop also nearby.

The only thing to say is apartment is on second floor with some tricky steps. OK for us but might not suit everyone. Hosts have done everything to make the accommodation comfortable, all spotlessly clean.

Excellent location, we chose to walk to the City Centre most days. We found the property to be quiet and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Great communication from the host.

A few more items of cutlery would have been helpful, but this did not impact on our stay.
