Cosy 2 Bedroom Flat in Edinburgh

Stepping through the door to enter the apartment was like stepping into an oasis...just lovely. Cozy is the perfect word. Do not mistake 'cozy' for small. This apartment is absolutely perfect. We did have trouble accessing internet the first day and a half....but it magically appeared eventually Just a couple suggestions: It would be VERY helpful if the host could provide a simple document of local information such as: 1. how to reach City Taxi for getting around. (my experience with Ubers in Edinburgh was nightmarish, just use City Taxi...download their app...they were magnificent.) 2. that a corner market with everything they may need is just across the street. 3. that a coffee cafe is just a couple doors down.........so on and so forth...and whatever else you think would be helpful to someone that has never visited Edinburgh before. All in all we LOVED staying here. I would not recommend it for those who are 'of a certain age or less than optimal physical condition' as there ARE stairs to climb to reach the apartment. And, the entrance to the building may appear dodgy BUT believe me...when you open the door to the apartment, YOU WILL BE SO VERY HAPPY. If the hosts will let me, I will stay here again and again.

So central. Quietly tucked away with a nice view over the town. Very comfortable.

30 minute walk to city centre lots of coffee shops and restaurants locally. Nice size and comfortable flat

Entrance stairwell a little off putting on arrival and smelt of fish (fish market next door) Upstairs was a bit noisy especially on Saturday morning. Parking was a bit of an issue. Finally got parked about 5 minutes + walk away

Lovely clean place. Our hists were great in asssisting wirh maps and advice.

Just be mindful of 2 flights of stairs to climb if you travel with lots of luggage.

Lots of space. Very comfy.

Shower area was not geared to taller people. Bathroom a little cramped.

Lovely apartment and very well connected to the centre. The place was well furnished and has everything one needs from a temporary home when visiting Edinburgh.

Not specifically to do with the inside of the fiat, nonetheless, the entrance hall and stairwell were filthy and had a lot of junk - old broken bikes etc. The smell of rotting food immediately outside near the Oriental restaurants was awful.
