The place was clean and comfortable. The bus stop for the City Centre is just near the apartment. The area is quiet.

Clear instructions when it came to collecting the keys for the flat. The flat is at a good location, only 15min by bus to town. It was clean and comfortable. Good value for money.

The key box was difficult to open. I think it needs replacing. The window had been broken from the storm but the host only told me after I sent the deposit.

The location of the property is very good, closer to everything easy to get to the city centre.

Communication with Matt, the owner, was friendly and no issues. In a good way, we didn't need him for anything, but we could easily contact him if required. We got a low price for a 2 bedroom flat. Easy to park in street, ready access to local transport, lots of shops near by. The rooms are generally nicely decorated, kitchen has full amenities and facilities. Nothing luxurious, but nice enough and we just required a 'simple base'.

Major issues - a window in the main bedroom is badly cracked and all taped up. This was mentioned in a previous review a few months ago. It's not really acceptable and you would think it would be immediately repaired. It also did seem to make that room feel colder. There is a single seat in the living room, which has a long seat cushion - sad to say it was pretty filthy and had a big stain on the seating part of it. The rest of the flat seems clean, not sure how this is missed. This is in contrast to the 2 seater sofa which was clean and comfy with nice cushions. Minor issues - both clocks don't work (just needs new batteries I assume?). Bathroom could maybe do with a small shelf near the sink to put things on, and perhaps a small towel rail - there seems to be plenty of room for this. There is a small lockable cabinet against a wall but seems to serve no purpose. The decor of the flat is generally ok, maybe needs a bit of touching up in places. The doors could maybe be painted to look more welcoming. The window and cushion issues are very disappointing and for me, really need addressing. It is strange - some areas of the flat are nice (eg. effort has been made to put nice pictures on the wall), but just seems to be inconsistent compared to the other issues highlighted. In it's current state, I can't give it more than a 5, but it should potentially be an 8+. I have stayed in similar types of accommodation in Belfast and no reason why this can't be as good as them.
