The apartment is 100m from The Grassmarket in Edinburgh's Old Town. This is a fabulous place to be based for a stay in Edinburgh. Edinburgh is remarkably walkable city.

We stayed in this apartment for two nights. The location is right in the heart of the city, with shops, restaurants, and plenty of pubs nearby. Stepping out of the apartment onto the shared balcony, you are greeted with a stunning view of the fortress in Edinburgh, which makes the stay especially atmospheric. In the mornings, we were woken up by the sound of birds singing. Despite the central location, the apartment windows face an inner courtyard, so it was very quiet and peaceful inside, and we could only hear the birds in the morning. The apartment is very warm, with electric heaters that work perfectly. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, with high-quality dishes, nice furniture, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment was spotless and very cozy. Honestly, we didn’t even want to leave — we enjoyed it so much. During our trip, we stayed in two apartments in London, and also in this apartment in Edinburgh, and we can confidently say that this was one of the best accommodations out of all three. We were very satisfied with everything. Many thanks to the hosts for such a pleasant and comfortable stay. We also believe that the price-to-quality ratio is excellent and fully justified.

Everything fully met our expectations, and we did not find any downsides during our stay.

"Homely compact flat in excellent location with nice views of Edinburgh castle"

Location, location, location! Lovely views of castle. The flat felt homely. Sofa converts to excellent futon double bed. Kitchen has everything you need, including tea and coffee. Supplied milk and biscuits much appreciated on arrival.

Key lock box hard to read and open on arrival. Shower water pressure weak. Window frames need a clean.
