Lovely Sunny 2 Bed Home Edinburgh Coast

Location, bathroom, internet and the fact that I can cook and do laundry.

The kitchen cabinets need repair. Dining table is too low relative to chair height, and has spaces between boards that collect crumbs.

A lovely flat in a beautiful location. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen contained everything we required. Although it was a faff getting in and a faff when we locked ourself out. The flat is lovely and cosy. Plus the people looking after the property messaged us the codes OK. I would recommend this flat. It's traditional and a superb spot.

The main stair door is very awkward to open.

The location was excellent. Nice area. Easy to access public transportation, close to a grocery store. It was warm and had plenty of hot water.

The washing machine is out of balance. It really shakes at high spin speed. My guess is that needs to be leveled.

The only thing we liked was the location and ease of access to transit.

Very dirty apartment. Caked on dirt around the windows. Dust, dirt and cobwebs in the corners and along the floor and ceiling. We had to clean dust and crumbs from the silverware drawer and wash the silverware before using it. The cleaning rags/sponges provided were moldy. Host said to us this was his residence when not away from Edinburgh, not a hotel, and shouldn't be kept to the same standard. The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag so it was inoperable in case of a fire. Host was at first cordial, helpful and easy to talk to but became somewhat defensive when we brought our concerns to him. Later became a bit dismissive. The description included a terrace, but the bushes were so overgrown that it was near impossible to even go out there.
