Nydsley Hall by Luxury Travel Emproium - 4 Luxury Apartments - 2 with Hot Tubs

The location and size of the property were great

It was in need of some TLC. Plastering coming away and some doors didn’t fit properly. The cleaning was also poor, cobwebs and even a false nail found in bathroom from previous guests. The hot tub was not filled adequately.

That the windows were left open, because the 1st night was extremely windy, and the doors in the main bedroom were making bad loud noise all night which kept us awake all 1st night. In the morning we realised what had caused all that noise- the draught from open windows which we hadn't realised had been left open, as they open high up and we didn't notice that on arrival.

The rooms were very nice, a twist of modern and old features. Some a bit more dated than others. The open plan kitchen was lovely, a great set up.

The entire apartment needs a bit of work doing. Missing beading round the island, very dusty in places, numerous stains in the carpets. To top it off though, we were given a jacuzzi with no water. Only heated up on the morning we were leaving. Weren't offered any refund, even though we booked a room with a jacuzzi. I merely suggested giving us the difference between the rooms that have and what haven't. Won't be staying again with this kind of customer service.

Quiet location and east access to the town and surrounding countryside Property clean and well thought out.

The shower is a rain shower there is no separate head to hold. There was no usb in plug sockets which is unusual in a new renovation. There terrace looked shabby and the cushions dirty. There were two broken rails on terrace which could be dangerous Out side at front and gardens looked bit scruffy

No WiFi or tv as not working and little attempt to fix it.

Property is bright and spacious and the location is excellent.

Property staff refused to give the door code to me when I was literally stood outside the property until I had given them my credit card details outside of booking.com (they also did not state how much would be held or for how long until I asked to know) this is supposed to be done (by their policy) 7 days prior to the stay. Not to hold you hostage outside the front door. Completely unprofessional behaviour. Property wasn’t cleaned/kept up to a standard I would expect.
