The Shepherd's Hut with seasonal swimming pool

Quaint little hut located in a beautiful countryside with views that take your breath away. Loved waking up to peace a quiet and sheep grazing in the fields. The hut was very well equipped with everything you would need for a weekend getaway. The pool was amazing and so were juicy apples growing onsite. John was an amazing host who made us feel welcomed, and reading through the welcome folder gave us chuckles with his cute ideas. We will definitely be visiting again!!

What a lovely quirky place. Me and my girlfriend (from Ireland) came to stay two nights and had the most lovely time. So peaceful and we spent a good few hours in the pool. We enjoyed a nice BBQ in the evening and John was very helpful with directions and we wish we could of stayed longer. I would definitely return and highly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We loved everything. I would of loved to seen the cat but I guess he was busy entertaining the other residents 🤣

Lovely location ,very peaceful,lovely pool ,

This is an excellent place to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and create quality time and memories. My son loved the swimming pool. I loved having my own bathroom, despite a glwmping feel. We loved Ellesmere and feeding the birds there, plus there was a large Tesco where we bought food for the barbecue. The grounds were lovely and private, and great views. Even the weather was (mostly) good.

The location is absolutely stunning, views from the window and front door of the hut are lovely and couldn't fault the site at all! The barbecue was brilliant with bench seating to go and the swimming pool was a lovely, welcome addition and was just what we needed during the sunny spells.
