The Shepherd's Hut with seasonal swimming pool

What a find! We were greeted by the great host John who was extremely attentive throughout our whole stay. Theirs a great book inside the hut that shows you what to do in the local area. The shepards hut was so cozy and has everything you need to have a great stay. The views are phenomenal, the Shepard’s hut was amazing, the service was also amazing! Completely faultless and we cannot wait to return!

Everything was exceptional

The hut was lovely. Beautiful surroundings and the sounds of nature were beautiful. It was smaller than I thought, but it was cosy with the log fire. I will come again. Next time, I am going to come for a reading retreat for myself. ☺️ I spent around 3.00 for electricity and left some in around 90p so for 2 days this is a good amount I think. Me and my partner added a DVD to the collection pulp fiction. Enjoy 😉 thanks

The tap in the kitchen didn't have hot water, although I am not sure it was meant to.

The peace and quiet! Host greeted us on arrival, super friendly and gave us some great tips on where to eat and walk ect then left us to enjoy the most relaxing weekend ever! Perfect location, perfect to re charge you're batteries ... added bonus, the wildlife and view is beautiful!

nothing it was muddy but we was prepared the host got in touch before we arrived to let us know and bring wellies

Was easy to find and the fireplace in the hut was lovely. The area around the hut was very pretty.

There was alot of lady bugs and spiders in the hut. The lady bugs fell onto our face when we were in bed trying to sleep. The area just before stepping into the hut was flooded with water. No hot water in the hut apart from the shower which was not mentioned in the about section of the listing. Bed sheets had a few stains on them.

Our stay in the shepards hut was amazing the breathtaking views when you wake up in the morning was tranquil, definitely a much need short break, the host John is a natural and definitely makes you feel welcome and always happy to help anyway he can ( all you have to do is ask), the log burner in the hut made it feel cozy and warm, the bed was co.fy and the hut has everything you need for your stay including views for beautiful greenery for miles, we will definitely be coming back 😀

Nothing bad to say at all

The location was serene, tranquil and picturesque. The hut itself was a luxurious experience and provided above and beyond what we usually experience in this type of accommodation.

Everything 👌 John was very welcoming the hut was warm & cosy will definitely be returning 🙏
