The Shepherd's Hut with seasonal swimming pool

John was a fantastic host.The shepherds hut had everything you needed.It was the perfect tranquil place to appreciate this lovely farm and views it had.We had a superb night's sleep and can highly recommend it.

Amazing place to stay with beautiful views. The bed was comfy and the outside area with the picnic bench and BBQ was lovely and private and surrounded by wildflowers and trees.

Absolutely stunning sheherds hut in a beautiful place, john the host is a true gent and so passionate about the venue. The hut itself was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay and the shower was a very welcomed edition. The welcome folder was an awesome read and gave us so many laughs, comfortable bed and the log burning stove made it so cosy in the evening. Lovely well kept hut with everything to hand for a restful stay. Sitting out under the stars with a log burning in the barbecue was amazing. Bird song to wake upto with unspoilt views and a stroll through the meadow was lovely. If youre planning a trip look out for the dragons, well goblin and the crocodile. A truly magical place for all ages. Already looking at dates for our next visit.

Very peaceful felt like you were miles away from anywhere even though the shops were only 4 miles away. Great place to connect with nature and recharge

A lovely stay in such an idyllic location. John, the host, was so welcoming greeting us on arrival and available to contact during our stay if we had any questions. What John didn't tell us on arrival was in the welcome pack in our hut, filling us in on the site, local area, things to do and the history around us. We will be booking to come here again as there was quite a few bits we just didn't get time to see. Overall a lovely, relaxing stay with a comfortable, clean and cosy hut to stay in. Just perfect.

The location, the tranquil nature and the privacy it has despite being close to another hut! You have not only the space but the nature to yourself

The bathroom mat and the mattress near the bed could have been cleaner.

Gorgeous little hut - comfortable and warm, we didn’t use the log burner as it was warm enough (good insulation!) Loved the DVD selection, the views, sunset, fields. It was very peaceful and John was very friendly and accommodating! We will be back!
