"Perfect stay to reset 😊"

The hut itself was peaceful and comfortable with everything you would need. We had pre-made pasta bake at home to use in the microwave. Our 3 days, 3 nights were bliss. Quiet, log burner, hot shower, nature, beautiful views and the birds singing. We needed a reset and this was perfection. Off grid and sleepy days with a book. LOVED THE DVDS. Complete disconnect from it all. John was fun and met us on arrival with a warm welcome. We shall return asap.

Nothing to say. It was a dream stay for a mindful, peaceful reset. Wearing proper footwear as a tip, I came from work in heels 😂 it's a beautiful hut in a field that can get a little muddy. Spare Crocs in the car saved my day. 💗

The setting is beautiful. Peaceful and quiet. Had a relaxing weekend. The bed was comfortable. Managed to get phone signal despite not expecting to (not sure whether that's a good thing or not! 😏).

Making our own way down to the cabin (it's obvious which way to go in the daytime, but we found it tricky on arrival in the dark). No hot water in the kitchen sink. No coffee/sugar/milk etc. Having to pay extra for heating/lights (£15 on logs/kindling/fire starters for the weekend and around £4 on electricity)

Location is very peaceful and beautiful. The site is quirky with lots if interesting parts. I loved the log burner. The host, John, was very friendly.

Only very minor niggles. The last occupant clearly didn't wash up very well, so I had to do this before I could eat or drink. No hot water in the kitchen tap. There's a taller than usual step up to the hut - which I did trip up once - so worth being extra careful
