"Lovely apartment in castle grounds"

What a lovely stay, just outside the Village of Thornhill the grounds around the castle are lovely and brilliant for walking. The apartment was all you could wish for and was a good size and well equipped.

The location was perfect when coming from England. Thereafter, it was an excellent base to cover a lot of Scotland.

"Lovely stay"

Location was brilliant in the grounds of the castle. Very cosy comfortable apartment, decorated to a high standard. Short drive to Thornhill for some small shops, 30 mins to nearest supermarket I think. Lots to do in the castle grounds and a park for children. Lovely cafe at the castle (was only open weekends so check opening times). We were visiting friends so also drove about and saw some of the surrounding areas but would stay here for longer than a long weekend in future to give chance to explore the castle grounds more. Information book provided by the hosts which was really useful.

Great location. Peaceful and beautiful. Nicely decorated. Nice welcome hamper. Great bed linen

Very small kitchen. Bedroom window rattled. Providing milk for initial cuppa, would be nice.
