Stableyard Apartment: Drumlanrig Castle

Beautiful apartment that looks onto the castle. Beautiful grounds, good for people who like walking or dog walkers. Peaceful and gorgeous gardens. Took my Husband for his birthday. Loved it!

Great views, service, location, facilities and staff were fantastic.

Everything about this place is superb. Really didnt want to come home and will definately be back. The wood walks in the grounds are fantastic with the dogs. Would love to take a bike next time as there are miles of cycle tracks. The grounds are immense and beautifully maintained. We also went to Crawick Multiverse which is well worth a visit. The apartment itself is spacious with everything you need to make full meals. The quality of the fixtures and fittings is top quality, lovely bed and bathroom.

Nothing to not like.

Didn’t like the emphasis still on Covid times .. needs updating I don’t like to be told to strip the bed .. ( I often do to be helpful not for spurious Covid reasons two years after the epidemic !! )

The apartment was beautiful. Really modern and cosy . The castle and gardens were spectacular and it was amazing to be able to stay on the castle grounds. We enjoyed lovely woodland walks on the doorstep and the large adventure playground was great for our little boy. We will definately be back, it is such a special place!
