Stableyard Apartment: Drumlanrig Castle

Absolutely beautiful location! The apartment was clean, comfortable and within exceptional surroundings. We had an amazing time and will definitely return.

Minor minor things... the bathroom window could have done with some privacy frosting or something, so you use the bathroom without closing the blind. And the bath screen leaked a little onto the bath panel and floor.

Rik's bike hire and bike trails Apartment was excellent - well presented Beautiful grounds for exploring and a view of the castle from the window. Perfect for r and r away from it all and the noises of modern life.

Alternatives to alcohol, caffeinated tea and dairy produce in welcome pack would be a nice personal touch. Didn't know if use of play area/castle was additional cost or included. If included need to state more clearly, if not equally state clearly. Thought to pay additional for house and garden area was a bit steep.

Breakfast wasn’t provided. The grounds were wonderful, and in a lovely location.

I am disabled and it didn’t say on the site that it wasn’t suitable for disabled. There were too many stairs . The Stableyard apartment was thinly one of your properties advertised , it could be everything else was taken. Only reason For marking as I did. It was a beautiful appointed Apartment.

The apartment was beautiful and very clean. The setting, on Drumlanrig Estate was stunning.

It was first floor apartment so didn't have somewhere private to sit out. On this occasion I took my 4 month old puppy, so not easy getting out quickly. But I knew this when I decided to take her.
