Sandy Retreat

Everything about the place was great. So much nicer than a hotel.

The winding roads in and out were a little tricky in the dark, but aside from that it was the perfect stay location.

We really enjoyed the stay, the bedrooms were big and comfortable. In general the house was clean and cosy. Perfect location, just 2 min walk from the beach. Lovely and quiet neighborhood. Definitely, you could feel there at home.

We were missing a sofa there where you could enjoy some family time. Access to the garden would be a great thing too. Lack of ironing facilities and the pressure of the shower was very weak. In general Interior of the house was cosy but too personalised; especially the religious images. I would definitely preferred if the house would be more religiously neutral.

The property is fantastic. We had a lovely 2 nights away. The property is perfectly located close to the seafront and about a 10 minute drive into Weston-super-Mare itself. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place just has a homely feeling to it rather than a holiday let.

The only thing that we missed, and both me and my mom commented on it, it's not a criticism just a note that the bedrooms are missing a settee or 2 seats just so you have somewhere to sit and watch the tv rather than just lying on the bed. Apart from that we couldn't find any faults

Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Warm and cosy. Great location a few steps from the beach and walks.

Supplied our own breakfast but the accommodation was lovely would definitely stay here again spotlessly clean

Host was accommodating with our guest with poor mobility by putting out a ramp for us.

Advertised as having an extra-large double but it was not, it was so small that I nearly fell out of it. Had fish and chips recommended that were truly the worst I've ever had from local shop- greasy and horrible and expensive.
