Eagles Land

I was travelling on my own and was very impressed with the fact that I had full access to the entire floor. It was very spacious and had everything I could possibly need including a fridge, microwave, utensils, toaster, cooker and TVs in both the living room area and bedroom. The selection of DVDs was also appreciated and everything was clear in terms of how to work the heating and WiFi. The location of the flat was easy to find and close to a bus route as well as shops and eateries. Also perfect location if you want to visit Edinburgh zoo; just a few stops away on very regular buses. The host was very responsive when I got in touch to ask for guidance as well which was fantastic. I liked the addition of toiletries in the bathroom as It meant I didn't need to supply my own. I think this property would be perfect for a couple staying as the space is so big but also good for the single traveller who needs a bit of rest. The area was exceptionally quiet and the noise from others in the flat was non existent. It is up the top of a couple of flights of stairs; not an issue for me and is a very short walk to a large Tesco, Macdonalds and Lidl. The bed was comfortable as were the couches and I found everything to be accessible and clean.

The building looked pretty ordinary, but the apartment was very nice. There's plenty of room, with a kitchen, loungeroom, bathroom, and bedroom. The heating works very well, and having a washing machine was very good. It's very close to buses that go directly to the city, which was very useful. It's close to TESCO and LIDL, and to many restaurant or takeaway options. We were lucky to be there on the weekend, when parking was free.

The shower is really the only negative. It has quite low pressure and is inside the bath, which is very high.

Lovely period fireplaces. Very spacious. Lovely modern and well equipped kitchen. Handy for local buses. Short hop to Murrayfield Stadium and not too far from the city centre. Lots of nice eateries nearby.

Being on the top (third) floor was nice but you have to be fit!

Good location, nice little flat, very quite area, close to transport links

Could have done with being left some toilet roll and fresh dish cloths but other than that was okay .

Nothing it was good

There were plenty of facilities for us to use such as mugs and towels and it felt very comfortable and clean.

Only problem we had was the oven wouldn’t turn on but they had a microwave anyway.
