"Beautiful lodge in a peaceful location, but not too far off the beaten track."

The location is perfect, the site is quiet and the lodge is very well equipped. Everything has been thought of, including children and animals! Lots of information is provided about the area too which was really helpful.

Driftwood was extremely comfortable, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need . Kitchen facilities great particularly if you want to self cater Beautiful position very quiet

"We had a lovely restful stay, just be prepared not to run out of your essentials."

The lodge is light and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all you need to cook & eat. We didn’t use the washing machine or dishwasher but all essentials were there if we had chosen to, there was also a nice welcome hamper on arrival which was thoughtful. Trips to Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Bigbury, that were all nearby, were lovely days out

The location, although beautiful, was very remote so you do need to be organised and have all you need, running out of toilet rolls isn’t an option!! There is an excellent Asda express/petrol station about 2 miles away although you would need to drive, walking there also wouldn’t be a practical option.

Really well equipped lodge

The only disadvantage was access to a shop. It looked like there had been a shop on the site in the past but now you have to drive out to get supplies.

"Perfect home from home for us."

The location is lovely, lots of coastal walks with stunning scenery. The lodge is very well equipped with everything that you could need and more. Its a nice quiet retreat. The beds were very comfy and so was the sofa. It was lovely and warm inside the lodge and the shower was powerful. We loved it, a real home from home at christmas with our dog. The christmas tree was a lovely bonus too.
