The Forrest Road Residence

Very pleasant and comfortable apartment in an excellent location (close to everything, lively but not noisy, safe). Good shower, comfy beds and sofa, nice and airy.

Only the very bright light in the kitchen!

We loved the kitchen and spaciousness, the cleanliness and decor.

The recycling is picked up between 7-8 so wear earplugs if in the streetside bedroom, however-this should not discourage you from booking.

All the facilities were excellent, the apartment was beautifully presented and the location was a stone’s throw away from the Old Town. The host was welcoming and very accommodating giving us clear instructions for our self check in (due to our late arrival) and allowing us to extend our check out time to suit our train departure time. We were visiting Edinburgh for a conference so coming back to this welcoming apartment at the end of a long day was a gift. I would definitely stay here again.

A bath mat for the shower would have been useful. We used one of the spare towels.

there were no breakfast items offered, just a few tea bags and coffee, and sugar - grocery store at the street so not an issue, but would have been nice to have a pint of milk or creamers

would have loved the key to not be sticky in the front door, several times we found the front door unlocked, so best to post a sign for all entrants to close the door!

Great location, spacy appartment, nicely furnished and well equipped. Communication with the flat manager went very well. We used the little supermarket next door and also the nearby pubs. But we also spent time together in the big living room.
