Cromwell House

Property was fabulous, lovely big Georgian house, lovely big rooms and great kitchen/dining space.

En-suite bathrooms a little small, but fully functional.

Location superb

The location is perfect for the centre,it’s basically across the main road.

The price…they’ve had a leak and are asking for top end prices per night where the walls are moulding along with the blinds.disgusting.

Very central location! Good communication with the landlord - they responded quickly We had an early check-in so we were given a key on arrival. Big Plus! Close to everything in Chester. Big house, plenty of space Large bedrooms. Large modern kitchen. The bathrooms was in good size

It would have been better if we could control the heat in the house ourselves. It was a little too hot in the bedroom when we went to bed at night, like a sauna. And we could not figure out how to turn down the heat. The radiator did not work in the kitchen, but the landlord quickly brought a heater when we informed about it. There could have been some cushions in the chairs in the kitchen. The chairs were quite cold to sit in. The living room was not big enough for 7 people. Cleaning was ok, but not quite up to our standard. But all in all a great place to stay while in Chester

The location of the property is ideal for access to the city centre. The bedrooms are huge, beds very comfy and lovely clean bedding with plenty of pillows. The kitchen was well equipped and a great size for all of us to sit and chat, eat, play cards and potter making drinks etc. We were really happy that washing up liquid and cloths were provided, as well as 2 trays of ice cubes. Small touches that made life easier. We had a very slight issue regarding bedding for the sofa bed but after a prompt reply from a call to the owners ,this was dealt with straight away with lots of apologies. Brilliant to have a parking space so close to the house too.Overall a great stay.

The house is on a busy road, which doesn't bother me personally, one of my friends lives on a very quiet road and traffic noise did affect her a little.

Good central location in a lovely city. Really close to market with lovely food stalls. Spacious property and very comfortable.

Minor thing- bath plug didn’t work so couldn’t fill bath which made bathing our baby a little awkward but I’m sure this is easily fixed.

I wish the reviews would start with the good first! As the GOOD definitely out do the bad, however its not bad its just little things! Lovely and clean, it had everything. It had plenty of room, very spacious. The staff were lovely. Photos don't do it justice at all, it was HUGE. Location was spot on We liked that we had 2 permits although the car park to the right if the property is very misleading as it says "use for permit holders" when it isn't for us to use, with #7 & #9 next to each other there wasn't enough room for both our cars was difficult, we made it work. The property was, spacious, airy beautiful decor throughout Dishwasher Washing machine Loads of glasses Cups & mugs Basically everything you would need it has! We would most definitely come again!

I wish the reviews would start with the good first! As the GOOD definitely out do the bad, however its not bad its just little things! Think it cost us more for what it was worth. We were gutted about NO hottub. It was resolved but still.. No one answered the phones when needed, but responded to messages eventually. Shower in top bedroom the little head kept collapsing and hit me on the head. Shower is small TV didn't work for music Didn't like the fact the neighbour new my name!
