A fourteen

Graham and Sue were fantastic hosts. Gave us lots of tips on where to visit. Also lovely that we were left some fresh bread and free range eggs! So we had a lovely breakfast using these. House is a home from home. Everything supplied that you could need. Peaceful location and compfy beds. Lovely area at the rear to relax in and could even go and pick your own organic veg( although we didn't as we ate out). Lots of books to read and games supplied. On site parking at the front. Brilliant coffee machine. Cosy house. No negatives about this house! Would recommend and will definitely stay here again to further explore the area as we only had 2 nights.

There isn't Anything we didn't like!

We had a lovely stay here, Sue and Graham were perfect hosts, the little things that made it special was the fresh flowers, fresh bread, eggs and homemade jam, and freshly dug potatoes that were delicious. The accommodation was very clean and more than comfortable, location was perfect for us, we had diner in Kilkeel just a short drive, and the drive into Newcastle was say 10-15 minutes.

There was nothing to dislike

This was the second time we stayed in A Fourteen. It is lovely dog friendly accomodation with extra touches such as fresh flowers, books, board games, DVDs and TV all available to use if required plus a lovely outdoor space with BBQ, log burner and access to produce from the vegetable garden. Sue always has homemade treats on arrival and fresh eggs. We have accessed Kilkeel, Annalong, Newcastle, Rostrevor Warrenpoint and the Mournes as well as Carlingford, Tollymore and the Silent Valley on our visits. We have found the accommodation comfortable, clean and a home from home and hosts Sue and Graeme more than helpful.

The accommodation was spotless. Everything was there to create home from home environment. Facilities and outdoor space amazing - highly recommend.

We stayed at the apartment with kids and friends, loved the accommodation, it's location and also it's very affordable compared to caravans and hotels nearby. It has access to the beautiful garden and the inside design of the house is gorgeous too. Close to the beach, national park and town. Highly recommend!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Probably one of the best places I ever stayed. Nothing was missing, the place was stunning. When we arrived we found fresh eggs, milk, home made jam and soda bread for us to use. The owner also let us use her garden for the kids to play badminton. There is no equipment missing in the kitchen, everything you need (and more!) is there. the fireplace is fantastic and the beds very comfortables. The owner left us many advice on what to visit, where to go to eat etc...
