A fourteen

The apartment was decorated lovely and was very modern. It was also cosy and homely. Sue had left us homemade soda bread, scones and jam and eggs from her chickens. It was such a lovely gesture and really put a smile on our face after traveling for over 3 hours from Wexford. The garden is beautiful and so are the surrounding views of the mountains. Couldn't ask for more for a beautiful weekend away, would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Newry and is also close to Carlingford as you can get the ferry across from Greencastle.

Great location and vews

Was very surprised how much thought and care were taken into consideration for guests

Everything, ease of access, Sue was there to welcome us and give local information. After that our stay was totally private even though the apartment is adjacent to the house where Sue and Graham live. Lovely homemade bread and jam along with eggs, milk and condiments provided. Wood burning fire created a lovely atmosphere. The apartment is decorated to a high standard and spotless. AND dogs are allowed. Other providers take note, you CAN have a beautiful place to suit all while accommodating pets for people like us who don't like to leave our dogs behind. We also appreciated the use of the car parking pass for Silent Valley. A Fourteen is highly recommended.

A Fourteen was perfect for us. Living area would be a bit small for a family of more than 5.

All facilities available for self catering. Very clean. Lots of interesting books on the locality. Complimentary brown bread was delightful.

Squeaky door that doesn't close.

Very pleasant home with private outside space. Milk, homemade bread and other treats left for us on arrival.
