Nice chilled place to visit. Nice walks, canal and pub nearby.

Great location for walking and visiting the ancient sites of the area. Magnificent countryside. Very helpful and friendly host.

The location of this place is delightful. Its got the feel of being remote, yet with the canal, a lovely cafe, pub and farm shop all in walking distance as well as being close to beautiful historic sites. Camilla was so welcoming and accommodating, and made us feel at home. Highly recommend to anyone and would definitely visit again.

Very warm and comfortable and quiet for our Christmas stay whilst visiting relatives. The bed was so comfortable. Will stay again. Thank you

We don't really like going down stairs to the bathroom in the night .

- Quiet location - Good view from lawn - Big bed

- Hot water is only available at certain times of the day. - Hot water tank is small so hot water can run out even when it's timed to be "on". When I showered just after my partner, the water turned cold before I finished. - The above was a BIG problem for us on our first day. My partner, who has eczema, had to go out for our timed trip to Stonehenge covered with emollient as there was no hot water to rinse it off. We told the host but there wasn't time to reprogramme the hot water timer and wait for the hot water tank to fill up for her to shower in time. The fact that there was very limited hot water and that it was only available during certain times of the day wasn't advertised. - When I told the host about the above problem she was breathtakingly rude and condescending. - The above cast a shadow over the rest of our four night stay. - Dining/seating area was very small. - Dining chairs were small and uncomfortable. - Having kitchen and dining area on separate floors was inconvenient. This mattered as we ate all four breakfasts and dinners in. - Having bathroom/toilet on separate floor from bedroom/seating area was inconvenient. - The owner's office was under the bedroom. We heard him start work at 6am and thereafter. - The actual floor area is much less than the advertised floor area. The area of the upper floor is 300 sq ft and the total area is 420 sq ft; the advertised area is 600 sq ft. I know this as I took measurements (I'm rarely without my trusty tape measure). This discrepancy is because the host's office on the ground floor is included. - Furniture was old and unappealing. - The ice box in the fridge was iced up.

Comfortable and well furnished. Very helpful, friendly host. Clean and tidy kitchen downstairs which met our needs - microwave and warming up food. Close to an excellent cafe, the Barge Inn also close, beautiful countryside all around. Many thanks for the warm welcome.

The lock is faulty ( or at least quirky) and we didn't like getting locked in - though we were able to get out through the downtairs studio. Bathroom downstairs ( though we did know this in advance) We felt that a hand rail on the stairs would be helpful especially for nightime bathroom visits! (we are both in our 60s)

Very quiet peaceful rural spot by canal and farm shop cafe. Lovely hills and villages.

The location was perfect, in the countryside and so quiet, just what I like.

It probably was not big enough for what I needed. Perfect for a few days stay but not for two weeks and with more than one person would need to have cooking facilities. But that is not really a negative. That is more down to me realising we need something bigger when booking.
