The Bothy

We had a wonderful welcome and the property was beautifully presented. Easy to find. Great location. Parking. Garden seating area was nice. Amazing view. Good local cafe too!

Couples would suit this property best as the main bedroom is much bigger

Lovely and perfect location for a family party

Layout tricky- the stairs meant as an older couple we could t make food and carry it upstairs/ downstairs easily- not great for less mobile people. Dog was there a lot and we aren’t used to dogs

Needs a handrail on the staircase. Would be better if the bathroom was upstairs making room for a bigger kitchen with a washer downstairs. Perhaps make the bedroom area smaller and get an en-suite with good sized shower in. Scrap the single bed in lounge area and just go for couples.

The Bothy was beautifully styled and was in a gorgeous location with unbelievable views. It had everything we wanted (and one of the biggest beds we’ve ever seen!) and was perfectly private. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay.

Everything! Camilla is a peach, bubbly, so accommodating, generous and kept me informed throughout. It was a very personable experience,especially as The Bothy is situated within the family grounds. The bed was simply delightful 😊 and the views beautiful.

It would be an abomination to be critical...if my hand was forced,I would check the freezer part of the fridge is free of ice around the rim.
